Breakaway Stocks

These are selected using our proprietary Moving Average Distance (MAD) methodology. We track the expanding distance between selected stocks demonstrating a 'breaking away' in performance.

Our MAD method aims to produce a more sound basis for stock picking vs. pure day-to-day price action. We use the Russell 1000 and S&P500 as benchmarks to produce a 'Top 50' from each index.

We use a screening philosophy developed by a company called Kingdom Mindset Investing™(KMI).

‍All ETFs and Stocks in our research and models go through a monthly screening process. First, they are run through an initial BRI Institute screening to flag any stock/fund that is triggered by one of KMI's 3 elimination categories: Abortion Manufacturing, Pornography Production, and Gambling.

KMI then manually reviews the initial screening on all flagged items, and applies what they call the Primary Mission screen to validate or override the flag.  Any stock or fund who's primary mission meets one of the 3 elimination categories defined by KMI, will not populate in our research or models.The KMI approach is more than just a screening.

To be KMI Approved, a company is required to show they follow a complete three stage process that includes primary mission screening, active stewardship, and generous giving.

Can I share credentials?

No. We have systems in place to limit the ability to share credentials. Additionally, we track logins and those found to be sharing credentials will lose access and removed from the subscription.

Can I cancel my subscription at anytime?

Of course! All plans can be cancelled at any time and will be active until the end of that billing cycle. There are no refunds.

We may also have different options for you before you cancel, like switching to a different, more suitable plan. Reach out to us if you have questions.

Can I change my plan?

Always. Depending on how you use your subscription, you may find that you need to upgrade or downgrade. Let us know what you'd like to do and we can help you make the switch.

Will you renew my subscription automatically?

Yes, your subscription will be automatically renewed according to your pay period.

Is the annual payment option refundable if I cancel?

No. In order to provide you with 2 months of daily signals and research at no charge, we bill for the annual subscription up front with no refunds.

How do I add users to open seats in my subscription?

Once you're logged into your Command Module, you'll see the option from your homepage to add users to open seats. Fill out their information, and so long as you have open seats in your plan, we'll add them for you!  

With SLS 1.0, you can have up to three (3) unique users and with SLS 2.0, you can have up to ten (10). If you need more than this, please contact us.

How do I access the 75 models and blends?

We have 30 models available in the Portfolio Toolkit. So long as you have access to the toolkit via your subscription, you have access to these 30 models.

There are an additional 45 model blends and portfolios that are available on STARSHIP, our turnkey asset management program.

What basis point fees are assumed on the factsheets as part of performance?

What do BMM and BMC mean?

Some of our models use these acronyms. BMM is short for benchmark maximum drawdown and BMC is short for benchmark CAGR.
